Die Casting
Fonderie Maestri can produce castings ranging from 20 g to 20 kg.
It is equipped with 7 fully automated presses with clamping forces ranging from 320 metric tons to 1,650 metric tons, each equipped with robotic arms, as well as blanking presses integrated into the die-casting cells

In recent years, Fonderie Maestri has introduced new machines—the Maico 350-metric-ton, 550-metric-ton, 850-metric-ton, and 1,650-metric-ton models—customized with the Closed-Mold Lubrication System. All of the company’s production cells, as well as their layout and components, are designed in-house by Maestri’s specialized technicians.

RAW MATERIALS
The primary aluminum alloy used is EN AC 46100, but in cases of specific requirements (electronic applications, corrosion resistance, greater elasticity) , the following alloys are also used : EN AC 44300, EN AC 43400, EN AC 44100, EN AC 43100, EN AC 47100, and special alloys such as AS10 and Silafont 36.
CO-DESIGN
Even before manufacturing the molds, we work closely with our customers on the industrialization of the product, proposing and suggesting technical solutions to improve the molding process and the production of the finished product—always striving to offer our customers the most cost-effective process that also delivers the highest quality.
The molds are designed and manufactured in-house or by external tooling shops equipped to handle even large molds.

The technical department at Fonderie Maestri works with dedication and expertise to design and manufacture molds with the highest efficiency. Each process is carefully analyzed and customized according to the customer’s specifications, ensuring superior quality and optimized production.
MACHINING AND FINISHING
Working with leading and established external suppliers, we also perform mechanical machining and various types of finishes, such as polishing, sandblasting, tumbling and powder coating, as well as surface treatments, like Surtec 650 and E-CPLS, all according to the customer’s specifications.
SUPPLY CHAIN & LOGISTICS
Fonderie Maestri works with major, reliable carriers and has developed in-house all the software solutions (MRP and ERP) needed to ensure the efficient and rapid management of all stages of the supply chain.
